Quick Savoury Mushroom & Cheese Toast
Avocado toast had it’s 15 minutes, so let’s make way for the next craze….mushrooms on toast! This recipe is simple and quick (just how I like it), but it has some great benefits for women heading in or already in, menopause.

Ingredients
1
piece
sourdough bread
1/4
cup
mozzarella
1
Tbsp
salted butter
1
tsp
balsamic reduction
1
shake
red pepper flakes
Instructions
Preheat oven to broil
Heat a frying pan, melt butter, add sliced mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes
Toast the sourdough bread
Add cooked mushrooms to toast, top with mozzarella, and place under broiler for 3-4 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and melted
When done, remove from oven, transfer to a plate, and garnish with balsamic reduction and chilli flakes
